Image Note: Mark approached me in Times Square and asked me if I would photograph him, he was released from prison roughly thirty days ago, and was trying to collect enough money to buy a bus ticket to his sons funeral the next day. Despite the very cold evening, he stripped off his shirt to show his many tattoos and asked me to take a few photos. At the end of the night I hope he was able to find a benefactor for the bus ticket, and I am honored that he chose to share his story with me.

Site Note: Speaking of honor, I was really thrilled that yesterdays photo was chosen as the featured photoblog post at photoblogs.org! It occurred to me that most of the time I think of this site as only being seen by me and maybe a couple close friends at best; that said, I would love to know who does actually stop by, post a comment and say hi!
